Make a difference in a child's life by becoming a foster or adoptive parent. Our team will guide you through the process and support you every step of the way.  The first step is to contact us by email at chosenchildfosterandadoption@gmail.com or call us at 512-508-8418 to schedule a virtual information meeting where we will go over the process in more detail and answer all of your questions.  If at that time you would like to move forward, you will turn in an application and background check form and begin your online training that mostly consists of videos you watch with a test to take from home at your own pace.  There are some other requirements that are covered in the information meeting, such as a background check, tb testing, a home study, etc. The process can be completed sometimes in less than a month or families are able to move at a slower pace and spend more time completing their training.  A financial stipend is provided to care for the child’s needs so you can focus on providing a healing and caring home environment. All our services as an agency are completely free of charge.  We hope you will reach out so we can share more details and answer your questions to see if fostering or adoption is right for you.

FAQ

Do I need to be wealthy to foster and adopt?

Not at all. Statistically, most people who open their hearts and homes to children in need are not in high income brackets.  

Am I too old?

No, in fact the State of Texas has passed a law that discrimination based on age is not allowed for foster and adoption.  Some of our best homes have been older, more experienced foster parents.

Can I foster or adopt as a single parent?

    Absolutely!
